Our Latest Project

Project of three learning centers for the drop- outs:

Aim of these learning centers is to provide to the disadvantaged children, of the near by locality, with extra support for formal education and nutritious food, to prevent them from being drop-outs and getting involved in anti social activities. Our objective is to give them extra coaching in these classes since they are, in general, first generation learners and are unable to follow the formal class-room curriculum.
The women and children with whom we have been working, belong to a very vulnerable background, most of them being victims of violence – mental and physical. They are resistant to any kind of communication. Some children from slum areas do not get adequate nutrition and proper parental guidance for education. They grow up in adverse conditions and slowly, they lose their identity. Our aim is to mentor such children, to bring them back to main stream.
We need funds for these learning centers urgently otherwise we may have to close down the centers.
Please donate for this cause, the minimum cost of running a center is Rs.100,000 per annum per center.

Vocational training for adult Women:

Under the tutelage of Ma Sarada Swanirvar Kendra, some of the young women and senior women of Home have joined a six month long training program called “Jute Diversified Training”. These learners from our home are presently learning to create items by using raw and processed Jute .
We hope that completion of thisprogram will take these students a long way towards self reliance and rehabilitation.
We are very grateful to Ma Sarada Swanirvar Kendra (Affiliated by WBSCTE and West Bengal Swarojgar Corporation Ltd) for encouraging and providing such training to our wards.
